Powerful Hub Motor that Goes the Distance and More
The Catalina electric beach cruiser is a Lithium battery powered e-bike pushing out 500 watts from the Bafang High Torque Zero Resistance Clutch Motor with Digital Torque Sensor on the rear hub. All this is powered by a lightweight, compact lithium LiFePo4 48-volt 10.4 Ah integrated battery pack for easy use and maximum power.

This 100% hand welded lightweight aluminum frame bicycle has the Atlus Shimano 9-Speed Gears & Shifting System. It's 26" x 2.10 Kenda® Beach Cruiser Tires and tube make for a super comfortable ride. Aluminum tire rims with quick release axle on the front and a water proof quick disconnect on the rear add to the comfort features.

Advanced Power Assist (SPAS) for carefree riding
The X-Treme Catalina comes equipped with the King Meter 5 Speed Smart Power Assist System (SPAS) with a USB Phone Charging Port. The electronics of the Catalina Electric Bicycle are controller via rider input on the LCD screen attached to the handlebars.
The LCD panel also indicates speed, distance and battery life. Smart PAS with 5 speeds will enable the bike to operate nearly twice as efficient as a non-smart assist e-bike, because you select the power consumption (speed controls 1-5 setting) on the LCD during your ride.
This feature will allow your Catalina 48 Volt to possibly reach or exceed 70+ miles per charge when using low SPAS while always pedal assisting on flat ground under perfect conditions with a light weight rider.
While riding the e-bike the driver can choose from 3 power settings.
- Twist the throttle and take off under electric power only
- Press the PAS button (Power Assist System) on the handlebar and the electric power will only kick in while you are pedaling
- Turn off the PAS system and simply pedal the bicycle like you would any other bicycle and ride with the power off. When you are ready for extra assistance, simply twist the right throttle grip and the power is there for you instantly.
